Welcome to Villa Bali Serenity. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of villabaliserenity.com (the “Website”) and your reservation or stay at Villa Bali Serenity (the “Villa”).
By accessing our Website, making a reservation, or staying at the Villa, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
1. Reservations
All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Villa Bali Serenity.
A reservation is considered confirmed once the required payment or deposit has been received and a booking confirmation has been issued.
Guests are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when making a reservation, including their name, contact details, number of guests, and stay dates.
2. Check-In and Check-Out
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Check-in is from 3:00 PM.
- Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Guests who require early check-in or late check-out should contact us in advance.
Failure to check out on time may result in additional charges if the delay affects the preparation or availability of the Villa for other guests.
3. Guest Information
Only the number of guests specified in the reservation may stay at the Villa.
Guests must provide accurate information regarding the number of people staying at the property.
Additional guests may only stay with prior approval from Villa Bali Serenity and may be subject to additional charges.
The Villa reserves the right to refuse accommodation if the actual number of guests significantly exceeds the number stated in the reservation.
4. Identification and Registration
Guests may be required to provide valid identification or other information necessary for registration and compliance with applicable Indonesian laws and regulations.
Guests are responsible for ensuring that all information provided to Villa Bali Serenity is accurate and up to date.
5. Villa Rules
To ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for all guests, guests agree to:
- Treat the Villa, furniture, equipment, and surrounding property with care.
- Keep the Villa reasonably clean and tidy.
- Respect neighbors and the surrounding community.
- Follow applicable local laws and regulations.
- Use the Villa only for lawful and appropriate purposes.
- Follow any additional house rules communicated by Villa Bali Serenity.
6. Parties and Events
Parties, large gatherings, events, commercial activities, photoshoots, or other activities involving additional guests are not permitted without prior written approval from Villa Bali Serenity.
Any unauthorized event or gathering may result in additional charges or termination of the reservation without refund.
7. Noise and Neighbors
Guests must respect the peace and privacy of neighboring properties.
Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or activities that disturb neighbors are prohibited.
Villa Bali Serenity may take appropriate action if guests repeatedly violate noise or community rules.
8. Smoking
Smoking inside the Villa is strictly prohibited, unless a designated smoking area is specifically provided.
Guests may be charged for additional cleaning, odor removal, or damage caused by smoking inside the property.
9. Pets
Pets are not permitted at the Villa unless prior written approval has been obtained from Villa Bali Serenity.
Any approved pets must comply with the conditions communicated by the Villa.
10. Damage and Loss
Guests are responsible for any damage, breakage, loss, or excessive cleaning required as a result of their actions or the actions of members of their party.
Villa Bali Serenity reserves the right to charge guests for:
- Damage to furniture, fixtures, appliances, or other property.
- Missing items.
- Lost keys, access cards, or other property belonging to the Villa.
- Excessive cleaning requirements.
- Damage caused by smoking or unauthorized activities.
Where possible, we will notify the guest and provide details regarding any applicable charges.
11. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings during their stay.
Villa Bali Serenity is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings unless caused by our proven negligence or as otherwise required by applicable law.
Guests are encouraged to secure valuable items and use any available safety facilities provided at the Villa.
12. Safety and Security
Guests are responsible for following all safety instructions provided by Villa Bali Serenity.
Guests must not interfere with smoke detectors, security equipment, electrical systems, fire safety equipment, or other safety devices.
Children must be supervised by their parents or responsible adults at all times, particularly around swimming pools, balconies, stairs, and other potentially hazardous areas.
13. Swimming Pool
If the Villa includes a swimming pool, guests use the pool at their own risk.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Guests must follow all pool safety rules and must not engage in dangerous or inappropriate behavior around the pool.
Villa Bali Serenity is not responsible for accidents resulting from failure to follow safety instructions or from unsupervised use of the swimming pool, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
14. Internet and Wi-Fi
Where Wi-Fi or Internet access is provided, it is provided as a convenience and may be affected by technical problems, maintenance, weather, infrastructure issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Guests must not use the Internet connection for illegal activities, unauthorized access, copyright infringement, distribution of malicious software, or any other unlawful purpose.
15. Utilities and Maintenance
Temporary interruptions to electricity, water, Internet, air conditioning, or other utilities may occasionally occur due to maintenance, infrastructure problems, weather, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to resolve any issue as soon as practicable.
16. Photography and Commercial Use
Commercial photography, filming, advertising, influencer campaigns, professional productions, or other commercial use of the Villa requires prior written approval.
Personal photography and social media use are permitted provided they do not violate the privacy or rights of other guests, neighbors, staff, or third parties.
17. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy applicable to your reservation.
Where the booking was made through a third-party booking platform, the cancellation and refund conditions displayed on that platform may also apply.
18. Changes or Cancellation by Villa Bali Serenity
In exceptional circumstances, Villa Bali Serenity may need to modify or cancel a reservation due to circumstances such as property damage, safety concerns, operational issues, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where we are required to cancel a reservation, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the guest as soon as possible and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
19. Force Majeure
Villa Bali Serenity shall not be responsible for any failure or delay in providing accommodation or services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include natural disasters, earthquakes, floods, fires, severe weather, government actions, war, civil unrest, epidemics, pandemics, major infrastructure failures, utility disruptions, or other unforeseen events.
20. Prohibited Activities
Guests must not use the Villa for:
- Any illegal activity.
- Activities that endanger other people or property.
- Unauthorized commercial activities.
- Unauthorized parties or events.
- Activities that cause excessive noise or disturbance.
- Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Villa Bali Serenity reserves the right to terminate a stay without refund if a guest engages in serious or unlawful activities.
21. Right to Refuse or Terminate a Stay
Villa Bali Serenity reserves the right to refuse accommodation or terminate a guest’s stay where reasonably necessary due to:
- Serious violation of these Terms.
- Illegal or dangerous conduct.
- Threatening, abusive, or disruptive behavior.
- Significant property damage.
- Unauthorized parties or events.
- Providing materially false booking information.
- Conduct that creates a significant risk to other guests, staff, neighbors, or property.
Where termination is caused by a serious breach of these Terms by the guest, no refund may be provided.
22. Privacy
Any personal information collected through the Website or reservation process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using our Website or making a reservation, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
23. Website Content
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on our Website is accurate and up to date.
However, photographs, descriptions, amenities, prices, availability, and other information may change from time to time.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, and modify Website content without prior notice.
24. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our Website may contain links to third-party websites, booking platforms, payment providers, or other services.
Villa Bali Serenity is not responsible for the content, availability, security, privacy practices, or terms of third-party websites and services.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
25. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Villa Bali Serenity will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Villa or Website.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
26. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or your stay at Villa Bali Serenity shall, where possible, first be resolved through good-faith discussion between the parties.
If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Indonesia, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
27. Changes to These Terms
Villa Bali Serenity may update or modify these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will be published on this page with the updated “Last Updated” date.
Your continued use of the Website or acceptance of a reservation after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
